Not much fun today. Sedona is sick and I have a raging ear infection from my tube coming out & leaving me with a hole in my eardrum. She seemed fine yesterday, I even watched her dancing like a crazy girl on the live video feed at her dance school for her first class while I waited Sophie to finish her class in the next room. When I returned to pick Sedona up, I got there early and the owner of the dance studio said she wasn't feeling well and had just been sitting on the floor watching the other girls dance. SO-she's been sacked out on the couch all day. Bummer.
On a good note-Jack's team won their 2nd game. No photos today since I stayed home with the girls and the boys did the baseball thing.
Now A.J. is planting winter grass and I'm making homemade chicken noodle soup!!
Stay healthy!!

Well-we had a productive weekend even though we laid around Sunday. Jack's team won their first baseball game Saturday. He really enjoys the baseball! Then we were off to Chuck-E-Cheese for a birthday party Max got invited to-a little girl from his class. Turns out Jack knows her older brother so he had a friend to play with so Sophie and I got to play together chasing Chuck-E around only to have her shake in her little shoes when Chuck-E came near her. She made me take pictures of the mouse like I was a paparazzi but she wouldn't even give him a high 5! Sedona went to Wet & Wild water park for a friend's birthday and AJ won his golf tournament and came home with a truck full of prizes. All golf stuff...not very exciting for me-although he did win a massage gift certificate!!! I deserve a massage for running these kids all over town while he golfed!!
Today Sedona turned in her lemon battery(and the vinegar battery they also made-those over achievers!). It was due today but not everyone will present today. I hope it has enough"juice" by the time it's her turn! Off to karate tonight for Max!! and I got 4 hours sleep today after work. Yippee!!

Busy, busy day today. Jack has his first baseball game of the season, Sedona & Max both have birthday parties to go to and A.J. has a golf tournament with one of the doctors he works with. Guess that leaves Sophie and I to do all the running around!!
Yesterday Sophie had show and tell which included "something purple" and "something that starts with the letter A" so she wore her cute new purple dance skirt with her "Abby Cadabby" t-shirt and brought her Abby Cadabby doll who is mostly pink but had purple hair. Her teachers said she looked like a doll herself. She is pretty stinkin' cute!!
I spent the day shopping for faux fur material to make tails for their Wild Things pajamas and crowns to paint gold so they really look like the Max in the book. So cute! I got both tails made but only Sophie's attached before they got chocolate brownie all over themselves and I had to wash the pajamas.
A.J. came home from work early to puzzle over Sadie's science project..a lemon battery. They'd got it working the night before and then had trouble. Now he's got too MUCH power. Good thing she's got a Dad who enjoys this stuff because between science projects and advanced math-I am out on the homework help! There's a website that has their math book so they can use that if they forget their book-I feel like I need to spend the day re-learning the math so I know what she's talking about when she gets home!
Anyhoo-it's almost 7 and I've got to get on the treadmill and them off to buy birthday presents for all these parties!!

This is my very first post on our blog. I've been wanting to do this for a while but never seem to find the time. A.J. wants to make a website instead but until that happens-here we are! Today we got the "Max" pajamas that we ordered from "Where the Wild Things Are". They only come in sizes small enough for Sophie & Max. They LOVED them. They put them right on and starting growling and jumping around-their own little wild rumpus. If I can figure out how to put photos on this blog, I will post the ones I took of them. They are still wearing them-6 hours later. So cute!
We are all excited for the movie opening October 16th but Sophie especially, she is a huge Wild Things fan. Maybe Santa will put a little Wild Things monster in her stocking.
Thursdays are our crazy days-Sedona has 3 dance classes, Sophie has her dance class & Jack has baseball practice so I'm trying to finish up dinner so we can all run in separate directions.
Today was "early release" from school so at least we got to hang out together a little bit.
That's it for us today...15 days until the Wild Rumpus starts!! Can't wait!
